Brazil Onboarding
Successfully completing the Sterling Background Check Form is a important part of our process at WEX.
- You received an email from Sterling and you have already completed the application.
- Sterling may contact you if any additional information is needed to complete the process. Please, reply the email with the correct information requested.

This page contains tasks to be completed during your onboarding period (from pre-start to your first day). Follow this checklist and check the instructions of each task to ensure a smooth onboarding experience!
Pre-Onboarding Tasks
You should complete the tasks below before your Hiring Date!
- Complete your Workday onboarding tasks up to 24 hours after receiving it. (See the “Workday Onboarding” tab for more details)
- Fill out the Benefits Forms (sent by Docusign). (See the “Workday Onboarding” tab for more details)
- Attend the Hiring Medical Exam Appointment (will be sent in your personal email, soon.)
1st Day Onboarding Tasks
You should complete the tasks below in your First Day at WEX!
- Log into your laptop on your start date – Do not attempt to log in before (See the Equipment Setup Instructions for more details)
- Attend New Hire Orientation (NHO) on your first day (See the “Day One at WEX” tab for more Instructions)

Workday is the WEX employee portal
Within 24 hours of offer acceptance, you will receive two emails from wexinc@myworkday.com. The first will include your Workday username and the URL to access Workday. The second email will include your temporary password.
- Check the emails to login your first time
- Choose a new password
- Once you log in, you will see your onboarding tasks.
- If you are experiencing problems with your password, please contact us via email at Passwordreset@wexinc.com
- All tasks noted in this document should be completed in 24 hours after you receive it.
Before start:
Check the Workday Task Help Guide to help you to complete these tasks. Be sure to open and review each carefully as they include time sensitive details and information.
Note: If you do not complete them by the deadline, it will not be possible to progress to the next step.
The tasks you need to complete are:
- Enter personal information
- Information contact information
- Change emergency contact
- ID changes
- Pay election (select your payment method)
- Policies acknowledgment
- Change my photo
- Documentation Attachment Inclusion

Benefits Forms:
You will receive a email from Docusign with different forms to fill:
- Taxes (Imposto de Renda): Include all your dependents in the IR, if you don’t have any, please, just choose the correct option and sign the form.
- Medical Assurance Bradesco: Include your dependents in the Medical Assurance Plan. (Elegible Dependents – Children up to 29 years old and spouse)
- Monthly Salary Advance
- Life Insurance

If you have any question about this stage, don’t hesitate to contact the Recruiter who was responsible for your process.
After completing the tasks in Workday, please keep an eye on your personal email. We will send your Medical Exam Appointment by email, including the location and date.
- All examinations are scheduled in the location you included in Workday.
Reminder:
If you need to schedule your exam in a different location from your original address or are unavailable to attend the exam during your Hiring Process period please inform your Recruiter
Equipment setup – prior to your start date
You will receive an email with a tracking number once the equipment has been shipped. When you receive your equipment, find a place where you want to have your workstation and set up your equipment using the set up for your equipment type.
Lenovo laptop (Windows User)
You will receive login credentials by email. If you do not receive them please join the New Hire Orientation during the technical support time to obtain them. You can check the correct time in the New Hire Orientation agenda, available in the Brazil Day One at WEX tab.
Logging in for the first time on your start date
STOP! Do not attempt to log into your computer until after 7:30 AM EST on your start date. Your system access will not be enabled until that time. Multiple failed login attempts will result in locking you out of your computer and require password reset assistance from our help desk.
Use the login credentials sent to you by your manager and the instructions below to login to your computer AND set up OKTA to securely access your WEX applications.

Your 1st Day at WEX starts on 09:00 AM (BR Time) and your initial task will be to log in to your computer. All theses details will also be sent by email in the week before to your Hiring Date.
Remember: Use the login information sent you from your manager. Do not attempt to login until your first day.
After you complete your first login, you can check the New Hire Orientation Invitation, in your Google Agenda.
Problems with the initial login?
If you experience any issues with your initial login, please use the Onboarding link we sent to your email and join the room from your personal notebook. The IT Support team will be in the room and will be able to assist you.
