Technology Onboarding & Equipment Setup

Welcome to WEX! To ensure a smooth start, please review the timeline and instructions below regarding your technology setup.

1. Equipment Arrival & Physical Setup

Remote Employees: Your equipment should arrive by the Friday before your start date. Please keep an eye on your email for tracking information. You may receive multiple packages containing your equipment, typically 3-4.

Once your equipment arrives, we recommend setting up your physical workstation early (monitors, keyboard, power, etc.) to avoid complications on your first day.

In-Office Employees: On your first day, please contact the local Tech Team in your regional office to coordinate pickup of your tech equipment.

2. Important: Login Protocols

Do not attempt to log in to your computer until your official start date. Technical support cannot assist you with login issues until your official first day.

It is imperative that you have your WEX ID and Password. These should be sent to you by the morning of your start date. You will need these credentials to access your device on your first day!

  • Please double check your spam folder for your WEX ID and Password emails!

3. Setup Guides (For Use on Day 1)

On your start date, once you have your equipment and credentials, please follow the guides below to complete your setup.

Note: General questions regarding tech equipment setup will be answered during one of our Tech Connect Sessions (listed below).

4. Tech Connect (As Needed)

Logging in on your first day is important! If you are unable to log in on your start date using the guides above, please use the Tech Connect Sessions listed below to receive dedicated tech support. If you are in a WEX office, please connect with your local Tech Team.

Note: If Monday is a holiday, the meeting will take place the following day.

If your equipment has not arrived by the Friday before your start date, or if you have additional questions related to pre-start tasks, please reach out to your regional contact immediately:

Post-Login Support: Once you have successfully logged in, you can access Tech, HR, and Facilities support directly through the Employee Service Portal.
